"Elizabeth B. Langley
Entered into rest on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 at the age of 89. She was the loving wife of the late Richard T. Langley; beloved mother of Diane (Mark) Harris and Nancy (Mike) Sage; cherished grandmother of Jacqueline (Danny) Kosel and Stephanie Sage. She was a dear aunt and friend to many of her beloved lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Emil and Marie Honer (nee Fritz).
Elizabeth was employed by McDonnell Aircraft in 1953. In 1954 she was nominated by her Department to become a "Sky Bell." In 1956 when working as a Scheduler for McDonnell Aircraft the company was developing the Mercury Capsule Program for Space Exploration. Elizabeth had the opportunity to meet some of the early Astronauts.
Elizabeth was very strong in her faith. She was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church in St. Charles, MO.
She loved her grandchildren very much and was involved in their school by helping their teachers.
Elizabeth loved traveling the world, enjoyed going to the beach and listening to the ocean. Later she spent her free time by living independently and going with friends to play bingo, cards and was a member of Sts. Joachim and Ann Senior Group.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17th from 4-8pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 18th at 9:30am- at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial donations in Elizabeth's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association."
