Elizabeth Ann Lehmann (née Schutta) April 19th, 1961 - July 28th, 2025
On July 28th 2025, Elizabeth (Liz) Ann Lehmann (née Schutta) passed away in her home. Liz lived a very humble life taking care of her children, followed by her grandchildren, for many years. Once the babies started growing up she became the lunch lady at their elementary school. More often referred to as "Grammy" by grandchildren and parents alike, everyone knew they could count on her to show up and keep the kids (and fur kids) safe and happy. She was always good for a laugh and always good for leaving our hearts and homes better than she found them.
Liz joins her mother and father Elrita and Edward, her sister Sue, and her niece Cortney in Heaven.
She is survived by her longtime partner Jerry; children Connie (Tony), Chad, Jake, David (Sarah), Molly (Tara), Philip (Mikayla), Joey (Emily), Ricky (Cory), and Adam; as well as her 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews, and many friends and loved ones.
Liz is remembered by those who knew her as loving, kind, funny, outspoken, generous, fiercely protective, accepting and celebratory of diversity and differences in her family and community. She always had a smile, a present and or a treat for the kids and a willingness to help where she could. Her greatest joy and desire was to see her family together, especially at Christmas.
The loss of "Mom/Grammy" will be felt profoundly and deeply by all who knew her.
On August 28th, 2025 a funeral service will be held at 11am with visitation one hour prior at Holy Cross Catholic Church followed by a luncheon at noon.
