Edward M. Lehmann, 80, of Elmhurst, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, at home, with family by his side. He was born August 8, 1944 in Melrose Park, to the late Andrew and the late Emilie Lehmann.
After graduating from Proviso High School in 1962, Ed worked for Continental Bank. During his time at Continental, he was proudly enlisted in the Army Reserves. After leaving the bank, Ed became co-owner of Geiser-Berner.
Ed was the happiest at his lake house in Three Rivers on Clear Lake. He cherished his time watching sunsets with his wife, Teresa, and gathering around a bonfire with friends. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
Beloved husband of 55 years to Teresa (nee Caldwell); fond brother-in-law and uncle to many.
Dear brother to his siblings who precede him - Andrew (the late Lorraine), Freida (the late Bert) Hahn, Martha (the late Vito) Surico, Arthur (the late Thelma), Arnold, Bill (Suzie), Charlotte Ahern, and infant brother, Richard.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1025 W. Lake Street, Melrose Park. Visitation from 10 a.m., until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
