Mary ann Pearch

Mary ann Pearch, 80, was the loving wife of Dr. William J. Pearch, doting mother to Bill (Susan Wilson) and Jessica, and a cherished friend. A devoted daughter of her late parents Margaret (nee McTigue) and Frank Jaszczysyn; treasured sister of the late Frances Jaszczysyn, Carol (Rudy) Kalas; Patricia (William) Siegler and Gail (Tom) McPike; and a caring aunt to Jennifer (David) Lyons, Amy (Jamie) Schram, Matthew (Becky) Kalas, Andrew (Nicole) Siegler, Margaret (Chad) Carlson, and Bridget McPike, and great-aunt to many.

Mary ann, a West Leyden High School and Illinois State University graduate, was a lifelong educator who helped countless people throughout her life. During her career she motivated students in the classroom, developed educational curriculum, and served as PTA president for George F. Nixon School in Westchester, Illinois. Her career continued outside of the classroom as a social service administrator advocating for people of all abilities in Joliet, Illinois and the greater Will and Kankakee County areas. Mary ann was a quiet force and dedicated champion who helped people find and keep jobs, maintain stable housing, and learn to access public transportation and community resources.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Cornerstone Services, an Illinois-based, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3).

Friends and family are invited to celebrate with a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Holy Virgin Martyrs Parish, 4157 Atlantic Avenue, Schiller Park, IL 60176. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside IL.
