Susan Moore

Susan Marie Moore (née Owen), of Lombard, IL, passed away peacefully on her 79th birthday, September 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on September 24, 1946, Sue was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend whose warmth and love touched the lives of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and June Owen, and her granddaughter, Erin Lee Moore, whose memory she held close to her heart.

She is survived by her devoted husband, David D. Moore; their son, David P. Moore, and daughter-in-law, Junghi Moore; two cherished granddaughters, Ashlyn and Ella; and her three loving sisters, Kathy Costello, Betty Gordon, and Nancy Pape. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews who will remember her fondly.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Elmhurst Community Funeral Home - THE AHLGRIM CHAPEL, 567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., immediately followed by a memorial service honoring her life at the funeral home.

Sue will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, kindness, devotion and the joy she brought to her family and friends.
