Elizabeth Marie Lippert, 96, Sandusky, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on November 30, 1928 in Ellsworth, PA to the late Louis and Gertrude (Johnson) Copechal Sr.
She was employed by the former Philco Corporation and Sandusky Public Schools, in the high school cafeteria.
She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, loved to read, bake, and volunteer at the church thrift shop. Her Zucchini bread was loved by all, and she loved being with her family.
Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Elmer (Geralyn) Lippert III and Larry (Patti) Lippert; grandchildren, Shannon (Aaron) Bramel, Amber (John) Kersker, Kelly (Matthew) Meyer, Ashley (Randall) Kwiatkowski, and Christina (Raymond) LaMarca; great-grandchildren, Addison, Ella, William, Lucie, Ashton, AJay, Carmella, and Angelina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Lippert; parents; siblings, Louis Copechal Jr., Jacob Copechal, Edward Copechal, Walter Copechal, Bertha Brozak, Ann Sinsky, Mildred Schieber, and Florabell Bowser.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 1 P.M. in Grace Episcopal Church, 315 Wayne St. Sandusky. Father Seth Wymer will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, or to the Sandusky Library, 114 W. Adams St., Sandusky, OH 44870. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be made to the family by visiting toftfuneralhome.com.
