Elizabeth "Liz" Marie Lujan, age 53, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on August 14, 2024. Liz was born on December 29, 1970, to Benny and Erlinda Lujan. She grew up in Tome, NM on the family farm where she was surrounded by her aunts, uncles, and cousins. Liz would often speak of the fond memories she had growing up in Tome. Liz worked many jobs in public service throughout her life. She worked for Los Lunas Public Schools Transportation, Valencia County Government and Isleta Casino both in the accounting department. But her "dream job", as Liz would call it, was being a care giver to her cousin, Debbie, with whom she had a special bond. Liz was a compassionate, caring, generous, and fun person to be around. She cared very much for her family. Liz had a strong Christian faith and would often encourage others in the hope that she had in Jesus Christ. Liz will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Benny and Erlinda Lujan, her brothers, Benjamin, and Michael Lujan and her grandmother Beatrice Torres. Liz is survived by her sister Sonia Lujan, brother, James Lujan, nephews, Christopher, Christopher Jr, Joseph Lujan, niece Samantha Wheeler (Nick), and sister-in-law Marilyn Lujan and by many relatives and friends. Services will be at Calvary Chapel Belen on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. The viewing will be at 9:30 am, service at 10:00 and reception to follow. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service, Los Lunas, where an online guest register is available at www.noblin.com
