Elizabeth Olson Obituary
A memorial service for Elizabeth Ann Olson, 82, will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Elizabeth entered the world on April 16, 1942 in Prescott, Arkansas to Adron Dexter Mitchell and Pauline Garrett Mitchell. She passed peacefully in her home, in Bossier City at 12:22 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024. She spent her final days surrounded by friends, family, and everything she loved.
Elizabeth was married to Don Thomas Olson, with whom she had two boys, who cherish her memory. After the death of her husband, she raised her two sons as a single mother, providing an environment to grow and flourish.
During her life, Elizabeth obtained her real estate license, owned and managed real estate properties, and worked as a caregiver. She loved cooking, music, dancing, bargain shopping at garage sales, and her shiny red nail polish. Elizabeth loved to sparkle and lived her entire life with zest.
Elizabeth is survived by her sisters, Rachel Babin and Mary Marioneaux; sons, Thomas and Michael and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
