Elizabeth J. "Betty" Patrick

Elizabeth "Betty" J. Patrick (nee Lins), 94, formerly of Bear, DE and Linthicum, MD, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Golden Age Home Care in San Antonio, TX.
Betty was born on July 30, 1931, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Naomi and William Lins, Sr. She worked at Central Medical Center in Baltimore where she ended her career as an administrator. Betty was an artist, enjoying oil painting, drawing, crafting, and writing. She was also very active in her community at The Village of Red Lion Creek. In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her devoted husband of 46 years, Joseph P. Patrick, Sr., and seven siblings.
She is survived by her beloved children, Kathleen E. Patrick and her partner Michael Feinstein, Suzanne P. Fischer and her husband Jerome, John R. Patrick II and his wife Nancy, Joseph P. Patrick, Jr. and his wife Cindy, and Amy M. Hopkins and her husband Joseph; her cherished grandchildren, Megan, David, Rebecca, Nicholas, Taylor, Joseph, Austin, Zachary, and Jenna; her nine loving great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Betty will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may call from 10:30am to 11am, with a celebration of life following at 11am. Burial will be held privately.
