Elizabeth Ann Kelley Pruitt, age 86, of Cordova, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026. She was born on January 5, 1940 in Somerville, Tennessee.
Elizabeth loved her family beyond measure and was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. She was known as the life of any party, always bringing laughter, warmth, and joy wherever she went. More than anything, Elizabeth loved Jesus Christ, and her faith was the foundation of her life. She had a special love for the ministries of New Hope Philly and America’s Keswick and faithfully prayed for the lives being changed through their work. Her love, strength, and unwavering faith were an example to all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Ron Pruitt and Bill Pruitt; her granddaughter, Paige Wells; her great-granddaughters, Violet Wells and Ruby Wells; her sisters, Linda Kelley Lazenby, Maxine Kelley Middlecoff, and Kelley “Dot” Walker; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lemuel Pruitt; her sons, Gary “Bubba” Pruitt, Ricky Pruitt, and Michael Gene Pruitt, her mother, Louise Harvey Kelley; her father, Charlie Max Kelley; and her brothers, James Kelley, Bill Kelley, and Larry Kelley.
A celebration of life service for Ms. Pruitt will be private.
Elizabeth will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her family rejoices in knowing she is now at peace with her Lord and Savior.
