Elizabeth "Betty" Rajskub

Elizabeth "Betty" Duffy Rajskub, age 77, of Trenton passed away surrounded by family in the early hours of April 22, 2022 following a years long cancer battle.
Born Dec. 3, 1944 in Detroit, Betty was the youngest child of Frank Duffy and Kathleen Casey. Beloved wife of 59 years to Tony, cherished mother of Kathleen (Ian) Johns, Suzan Irmer and Mary Lynn Rajskub; loving gramma and #1 cheerleader of her grandchildren Devin, Casey, Megan, Elizabeth, Bailey and Val; and great granddaughter Nova Rae.
When not spending time with family and friends, or on the golf course - Betty and Tony were frequent fixtures at a number of restaurants Downriver. Together they spent a number of years volunteering throughout Detroit with the Parade Company, Grand Prix, and more. Betty enjoyed sharing her love for the city with those near and far.
All those who knew Betty, loved her and she loved them. Her smile was infectious and her spirit never faded throughout the battles life put her through - a true fighter. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Frank and James, and sister Ellen.
Betty will be deeply missed by many, many loving family and friends.
The family will hold visitation hours on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Road, Trenton, MI 48183. On Tuesday, April 26, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The Salvation Army in Betty's honor.
