Elizabeth Frances Rushing, age 82, of Fairview, TN passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at her residence. Mrs. Rushing was born on February 14, 1941 in Cherry Valley, AR to the late Luther McGarrity and Lillie Belle Hollie McGarrity. She was retired from Fisher Price Inc. and member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Nashville, TN.
Survived by: Husband: Floyd Lynn Rushing of Fairview, TN; Son: Steve (Tracye) Rushing of Kingston Springs, TN; Daughters: Brenda Davidson of Paris, TN, Sandra (Joe) Eaton of Springville, TN, Donna Carson of Paris, TN and Janet (Danny) Sexton of Fairview, TN; Brothers: Charlie (Geraldine) McGarrity of Arkansas, John (Alene) McGarrity of Sparta, TN, Raymond (Vera) McGarrity of Indiana and Thomas (Ruth) McGarrity of Arkansas; Sister: Doris Adams of Arkansas; Eleven Grandchildren; Twenty One Great Grandchildren and Ten Great Great Grandchildren
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 12:00-2:00 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 2 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Sanders, Bro. Roy Duke, Bro. Marty Johnson and Bishop Ron Becton officiating. Burial will follow in Ramble Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Ramble Creek Cemetery in care of Susan Melton, 12973 Hwy 69A, Big Sandy, TN 38221.
