Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Schlueter, 90, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, January 20th, 2025 at Quality Life Services in New Castle.
Betty worked as a nurse at various places in the area throughout her career. She was a member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. Betty was known to keep to herself, but a kind soul nonetheless. She enjoyed taking road trips and traveling around with her husband, Al. Betty was also someone who took pride in maintaining her gardens and yard.
She is survived by her neighbors and good friends, The Stewart Family, and her adoptive grandson, Jake (Amber) Stewart, and his daughter, Evelyn.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfons M. Schlueter who passed away on October 10th, 2013.
As per Betty's wishes, services are private. Interment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
Memorial contributions in Betty's name may be made out to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Lawrence County Humane Society.
