Ronald E. Kennedy, Sr., 68, of Ellwood City passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 28th, 2025 at his residence with his loving family at his bedside.
Ronald was born in Ellwood City on December 2nd, 1956 to the late Rev. Lancet Charles Kennedy and Laura E. (Eicholtz) Kennedy. He married the love of his life Carol (Eddinger) Kennedy on October 11th, 2003. Ron had worked at Anchor Hocking in Monaca for 34 years as a machine operator and served as vice president of the union. He enjoyed Elvis and Conway music and family holiday cookouts. Ron lived for his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife Carol, daughters, Mary (Trent) Addison, Jessica (Brian) Ball, Stephanie (Rusty) Gilbert, Kimberly (Jake) Morehouse, and Andrea Custer, sons, Ronald (Raeann) Kennedy, Jr., and Bryant Parone, eighteen grandchildren, one great-grandson, sister, Nancy Britton, brother, Wilbert (Kathy) Kennedy, and cherished best friend, Barbara Zager.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brothers-in-law, Jennie and Paul Rachau, Annie Meskell, Doris and Frank Ritchie, brothers and sisters-in-law, Lance and Mary Lue Kennedy, William and Linda Kennedy, and Russell and Thelma Thomas, sister-in-law, Mary Ringle, and nephews, Doug and Paul Ritchie.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with his son-in-law Rev. Brian Ball officiating.
