Memories are all you have left when a loved one dies, and my family would like to share our special ones with you.
"Mom was my "Siri" for our family since Dad passed away. When I visited, she basically told me everything about everyone who had good or bad things going on she especially wanted me to know if someone in our family needed help or prayers. She worried about all of us and wanted us to be happy." (Ed)
"She loved Betty Boop. Her ornaments had to be on the Christmas tree every year." (Pat)
"I was living at home and needed a motor for my car but could not afford it. Dad needed his car. When Mom saw I could not pay for it she gave me the money from her secret stash."
"When I brought home a groundhog and Mom tried to cook it, the whole house stunk so bad we had to sit outside. Groundhogs are not good eating." (Mike)
"Daughter! Sister! Wife! Mother! Mom! Mommy! Grandmother x3! Blessed Friend! (Joe)
"Mom liked playing the slots and was very lucky. I call her the "Slot Queen." (Charlie)
"She called Dad the Kissing Bandit because every time he saw her, he would kiss her. For Christmas one year Mom asked me what my kids' favorite character was. When I told her she asked me to take her to Joann Fabrics to look for material. She made a special pillow. The kids loved their pillow and I believe that some might still have theirs. It touched me to know how much she loved them. She labored over them for a few weeks. Mom was a special woman who will be missed by everyone." (Lisa)
"Mom always knew everything going on with the family." (Tom)
"She loved her birthday and being the center of attention. We would take the kids over and make a big fuss. Cake, balloons, presents, the works, we all enjoyed that time together." (Fran)
"I remember being down in Brigantine with the whole family. All the kids were in bed and me and my sisters were talking in the living room. Mom came out of the bathroom in a pink robe, slippers, hairnet and no teeth. As soon as she started talking, we busted out in laughter, the more we laughed the more she talked. Dad came out of the bedroom wanting to know what all the laughter was about and joined in on the fun. All of us were laughing until our sides hurt and Mom never stopped talking." (Kathy)
Our Mom leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, smiles and laughter, we will miss her very much.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Saint David Church, 316 Easton Road (at Summit Avenue), Willow Grove, PA 19090 from 9:30 to 11:15AM and to the celebration of her funeral Mass at 11:30AM.
