Elizabeth Villa Obituary

Elizabeth (Billie Ann) Villa, beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, passed away peacefully at home November 5, 2025. She was born in Santa Fe December 15 1936 to Charles B. Gonsales and Isabel Quintana Gonsales. She married the love of her life, Joe T. Villa in 1954 and enjoyed 65 years of marriage, music and dancing until Joe’s death in 2019. Billie Ann retired from the New Mexico Department of Taxation and Revenue after 25 years of employment. She was a devout Catholic who prayed every day for her family and friends. She loved and was loved deeply.

Billie Ann is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Garrett, her sons, Andrew and Richard, her daughter Theresa and her granddaughter Tatiana. She is survived by her loving children Sharon, Cindy, and Mathew, her five sisters and one brother as well as nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday November 18 at 11:00 am at St.John’s Catholic Church, 1301 Osage Ave, Santa Fe. Reception to follow at the Montezuma Lodge Masonic Center, 431 Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
