Elizabeth Mae Whitmore, 83, of Ranson, WV, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Hospice of the Panhandle inpatient facility in Kearneysville, WV.

Born on June 14, 1942, in Ranson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Thomas William Ott and Nellie Elizabeth Long. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Harpers Ferry ward.

Elizabeth was a realtor for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Vickers and husband, Lawrence, in Kearneysville, WV, Angie Janszen and husband, John, in TN; three sons, Robert Whitmore and wife, Cathy, in Kearneysville, WV, Thomas Whitmore and wife, Heather, in Ranson, WV, Tim Whitmore and wife, D.D., in Bunker Hill, WV; twelve grandchildren, Beth, Larnie, Amy, Rob, Stephanie, Junior, Chris, Ralph, Caden, Jacob, Anthony, Danny, J.P., Keri; thirty great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Eliza Bayles, Barbara Wolford, and Judy Hawkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Junior Whitmore, in 2011; one daughter, Chrissy; one infant son, Anthony Scott; one granddaughter, Nikki; one grandson, Allen; one infant great-grandson; and one brother, David Ott.

Cryptside service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 11:30 A.M., at Pleasant View Memory Gardens, 2938 Charles Town Road, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
