Elizabeth "Lizzie" E. Wickey, of Geneva, Indiana passed into eternity on February 2, 2025, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio, at the age of 70. She was born on October 20, 1954, in Adams County, Indiana. Lizzie is a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Lizzie is survived by her sister-in-law, Maggie J. (Christner) Wickey of Geneva, Indiana; sister-in-law, Sylvia E. (Schwartz) Wickey of Bluffton, Indiana; brother, Dave E. (Lovina) Wickey Berne, Indiana; brother-in-law, Jonas A. Neuenschwander of Blair, Wisconsin; brother, Amos E. (Barbara) Wickey, of Berne, Indiana; sister, Edna E. (Menno) Neuenschwander of Geneva, Indiana; sister, Barbara E. (Andy) Schwartz of Berne, Indiana; brother, Joni E. (Emma) Wickey of Glenwood, Indiana; as well as 81 nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma M. (Swarzentruber) Wickey and father, Amos J. Wickey; her brothers, Toby E. Wickey and Jake E. Wickey; her sister, Katie E. (Wickey) Neuenschwander; and four nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held at the family residence, located at 9585 South 150 East, Geneva, on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be officiated by Bishop Amos L. Schwartz at the residence and will begin at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. Burial will follow in the Bunker Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva, Indiana.
