Elizabeth Ann Sizemore Woodard, affectionately known as Beth, departed this world on December 19, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 9, 1962, in Claremore, Oklahoma to Glen and Margaret Sizemore. Beth graduated from Tahlequah High School and pursued higher education at Northeastern State University earning a bachelor's degree and dual master's degrees.
Beth's passion for education translated into a fulfilling career as a beloved teacher and counselor at Lowry School, followed by Parklane Elementary, and Wolf Creek Elementary, where she touched the lives of many children and their families.
Beth was a kind, warm, and compassionate person with an infectious laugh and a fun-loving spirit. Her favorite hobbies were spending time at the lake, traveling, shopping 'til she dropped, drinking fountain Diet Dr. Peppers, hanging out with friends, attending bible study group at Arrow Heights Baptist Church, and riding motorcycles with Steve. Her real love was spending time with her grandchildren.
Beth is survived by her husband, Steve Woodard, mother, Margaret Sizemore, brothers, David and Janice Sizemore, Chris and Ashley Sizemore, sisters-in-law, Frankie Crowson and Teresa Tucker, and stepdaughters, Stevie Woodard and Tomi Woodard. She is also survived by grandchildren Cooper, Paisley, Parker, Karter, countless beloved nieces and nephews, and best friend Tandi Robertson.
Beth was preceded in death by her father Glen Sizemore, sister-in-law Cyndi Tucker, and brothers-in-law Glenn Crowson and Presley Tucker, mother-in-law Shirley Tucker, niece Britanie Hobgood, and nephew Aaron Tucker.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, December 29, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Arrow Heights Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
