Elizabeth Pomeroy passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the age of 96. She was born on May 22, 1929 in Vassar Michigan to Frank and Annie (Wilber) Corkins on June 28, 1947 she married Ona Pomeroy Jr. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2000. Elizabeth loved to cook and bake always ensuring that you got a second helping. She was a jack of all trades from laying her own flooring to repairing a lawnmower to cutting hair for family members. She also enjoyed sewing and playing Euchre.

She is survived by her children Larry (Lucy) Pomeroy, Mary Ann (Daniel Roosa, Susan Pomeroy and Robert (Pamela) Pomeroy. Grandchildren Krista (Ronald) Schaefer, Christopher (Susan) Pomeroy, Jenee (Jason Ripple, Jennifer (Joshua) Kaplan, Lisa (Josh) Ruppel. Yasmine (Andrew Dunn) Pomeroy and Nicole (Anthony Estrella) Pomeroy. Great grandchildren Naomi and Miles Kaplan, Evan Ripple Elizabeth Lavictoire, Thomas and Brennan Rupple. In addition to her husband and parents Elizabeth was predeceased by siblings Frank Corkins, Clarence Corkins. Carl Corkins, Clare Corkins, Ralph Corkins, Viola Pray, Mildred Kinney and Phoebe Zamora.

Per Elizabeth's wishes no service is planned. She will be laid to rest at Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will privately remember and celebrate her life and would like to extend a special thank you to her caregiver Kathy and to Advanced Hospice Care Nurse's Shawn and Kelly for their compassionate care and support.
