Ella Beal Obituary
Ella was preceded in death by her loving parents, Elmer and Katy Doty; brothers, Larry Joe Doty and Samuel Doty; son, Curtis Gunter; daughter, Rogena Lopez and granddaughter, Latrisha Cook.
Ella is survived by her husband, Billy Beal; brother, Richard Doty; sister, Anna Gunter Sowda; 2 sons, Joe Gunter (wife Tonya Gunter) of Denison, Texas, and Wade Gunter (wife Kimberly Gunter) of Cartwright, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Katie Avila, Amy Lopez, Latasha Cook, Kel Gunter, Savannah Loman, Bubba Lopez, Nicholas Gunter, Cody Gunter, Chad Gunter as well as 18 great grandchildren.
Ella spent many years working at Diaper Jeans, making beautiful dresses and was a longtime employee at Sam's Club in Sherman, Texas, where she finally retired.
After retirement, Ella enjoyed spending time with her family, as you can imagine there were plenty of kids to keep her busy. She enjoyed the outdoors with her sons, fishing, hunting, and camping.
To know Ella was to love Ella, she was known for having the most loving and giving heart of anyone around. She was full of life and sought great joy in looking after all her friends and family members.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the Garden of Memory Cemetery, in Colbert, OK, with Zach Doty, Officiating. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Gunter, Cody Gunter, Chad Gunter, Andres Avila, Alec Lopez, and Enrique Lopez. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Fisher Funeral Home.

I knew Kay since 1972. We lived in Canadian, Tx. She was a dear friend. I would have came for the service but didn't know until Jan. 19. She was a dear friend.
