Ella Patricia “Pat” Graves, age 84 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at her home. She was born on May 2, 1941 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late William Henry Buck and Lena Belle Hill Adams.
Mrs. Graves was a graduate of Norman High School. She worked as a teachers aide and bus driver in the Murfreesboro Public School System for thirty-three years. Pat loved children and enjoyed taking care of others. Her passion was taking care of the needs of others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her God given mother, Evelyn “Snooks” Reecer, as well as two sisters and four brothers.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of sixty-five years, Larry Graves; her three children and their spouses, Pam Pipkins and John of Mayflower, Gary Graves and Patti of Murfreesboro and Penny Lamb and Randy of Murfreesboro; Two siblings, Andy Buck and Karen of Pea Ridge and Margie Spence; Four grandchildren, Kelley Campbell and Eric of Murfreesboro, Haley Graves and Madison Pike of New Boston, Texas, Laura Pipkins of Little Rock and Erin Lamb of Murfreesboro; Four great-grandchildren, Madison Silva and Landon, Abigail Campbell, Noah Lamb and Liam Lamb, all of Murfreesboro; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
A funeral service will be held to honor Mrs. Graves’ life beginning at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2025 in the Latimer Funeral Chapel in Murfreesboro. Interment will follow at Shockey Chapel Cemetery near Norman, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Murfreesboro.
