Funeral, 1 PM, Saturday, October 25, 2025, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1596 E US 74 Hwy, Hamlet. Rev. Michael T. Swinney, Pastor, Officiating. The Rev. Charles W. Brooks, Pastor of Poplar Springs Christian Church, Raleigh, Eulogist. Interment, Church Cemetery. Visitation, 12:30 PM to 1 PM, prior to the service. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, October 24, 2025, at the funeral home.
Survivors; children, Robert L. Carr Jr. (Betty) and Christopher Carr; 2 grandchildren, Danielle Carr and Tori Carr; 1 great grandchildren, Robin Carr; siblings, Olivia Prince, Percy Miller (Dorothy), Kathryn Miller and Walter Miller (Sharon); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including, a stepdaughter, Lisa Lisa Squirewell (Amos) and their children, Aaron and Marqus.
The family will receive friends at 2322 King Malcom Lane, Zebulon.

Mrs. Carr was my teacher assistant at Wake Co schools. She enjoyed helping the children and was a good helper to me. She talked about Tori all the time. RIP.
