Ella Kelley Morrison

Ella Kelley Morrison, 86, passed away May 9, 2023, while a resident at Morrell Nursing Center in Hartsville. The family will receive friends Wednesday 5-7 pm at Norton Funeral Home.

Ella was born in Bishopville a daughter of the late Earl Kelley and Christine Weaver Kelley. She was a member of New Market United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her son, James W. (Jim) Morrison, Jr.

Surviving  is her husband, James W. (Bud) Morrison of Hartsville; daughter-in-law, Ceil Morrison of Hartsville; daughter, Tina (Eddie) Goodson of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; son Mitch (Jamie) Morrison, of Dalton, GA; granddaughter, Kelley Morrison of New York, and great grandchildren, Meriella and Alexander.

The family will hold a private interment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to New Market United Methodist Church, 1909 West Old Camden Road, Hartsville, S.C. 29550.

The family would like to express appreciation to Crescent Hospice and the nursing, and aide staff at Morrell’s Nursing Center.
