Ellef N Nelson

Robbinsdale - of Robbinsdale, MN passed away on September 26th, 2025, He was preceded in death by loving wife, Lorna; sister, Harriet; and brother, Glenn. Ellef is survived by his sister, Arla Mae Kuster; daughter, Kathleen; sons, Michael (Carol) and Curt (Vickie); grandchildren, Tracie (Mike), Mickey (Marty), Jessie (Mike), Matthew (Elizabeth), Crystal (Brad), Jake, and Mimi (Danny); and many dear great-grandchildren. Ellef was born October 14, 1931 to Henry and Gina in Clifford, North Dakota. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1948 until his honorable discharge in 1952. Known to many as "Ellie" or "Gramps", he was a strong man with a big heart. He loved sports, the news, sweet treats and most of all his family. Gramps was truly one in a million. He brought joy, laughter and unforgettable memories to us all. Though we are heart broken, his wisdom, advice and love will light our paths forever. A private family service will be held to honor Dad. Ellie will be reunited with Lorna and laid to rest at Fort Snelling with full military honors.
