Ellen Mary Case, 96, of Chappell Hill Texas departed this earthly life on November 16, 2023. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 25, 2023. Burial will be at 2:30 pm, Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079.
Ellen was born on March 19, 1927 in Cavan, Ireland to Mary Smith. She was married to John Case. She attended Nursing School in London and practiced nursing until her children were born. Ellen was a kind and gentle soul who loved spending time with family and friends. She also loved animals and they were a constant presence throughout her lifetime.
Survivors include son, Edward Case of Dunedin, New Zealand; daughter, Jacqueline Case of Auckland, New Zealand and daughter and son-in-law, Adrienne and John Hamilton of Chappell Hill, Texas. Grandchildren, Kelsey Hamilton Barta and husband Samuel Barta; Landa Hamilton. Great grandchildren Sandi Barta and Josey Barta.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Case.
