Ellen Claire Cullen Doss
Ellen Claire Cullen Doss, 73, of Sayre, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 11 th, 2023, with her
children at her side.
Ellen was born in Wilkes-Barre on October 20 th, 1949, the daughter of the late James Vincent and Ruth
Claire Walsh Cullen.
Ellen spent the first 15 years of her life as a "Navy Brat," living in such places as Pennsylvania, California,
Puerto Rico and Cuba before arriving in Dushore, where she spent one year at Saint Basil's School in
Dushore and graduated from Sullivan County High School, Laporte. Ellen worked as a trained hair
dresser.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Agnes, and a brother, Kevin
Eugene.
Ellen is survived by her children Lisa Barnatovich (Robert) Elliott and Jamie Doss King. Also surviving is a
brother Leo (Sharon) Cullen and 6 grandchildren.
In keeping with Ellen's wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family with burial at
Saint Francis Xavier cemetery in Overton.
