Ellen Jayne Gordon, age 80, of Logansport, passed away Saturday March 22, 2025, in her residence, surrounded by her family.
Born March 5, 1945, in Cass County, IN to the late Joseph Everett and Virginia Irene (Clem) Bowyer. On November 17, 1967, in Logansport Jayne married Everett M. “Babe” Gordon who preceded in death on May 18, 2019.
Jayne had worked for Tay-Mor Industries, Kaines Motor Servies and retired from the Logansport State Hospital after 13 years of service. She was a member of American Legion Post #60 Aux., V.F.W. Post # 3790 Aux., and McNeely Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Tracie E. Murphy and Kellie S. Neuendorf, Logansport; Cheryl Lynne Tomlinson and Vicki Jo (Kim) Zeller, Logansport; one brother, Jeffery (Janet) Bowyer, Logansport; seven grandchildren, Tad (Sarah Beth) Shaffer, Emily Shaffer, Bailey Pickett, Kami Tocco, Sydni Neuendorf, Darrin Arvin, Treisha Hile; sixteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Jayne was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sherie J. Hoosier; brother, Jay Bowyer and three grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday March 26, 2025, in the Gundrum Funeral home with Pastor Doug Thomas officiating. A burial will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 4 :00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday March 25, 2025, in the funeral home
