Ellen K. Leech, 75, of Ambler, PA died peacefully surrounded by her family on September 13, 2025. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 2, 1950 to the late Edwin and Martyna (Lever) Rauch. Ellen worked for Penn Mutal for many years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, shopping and bird watching. Ellen loved her neighborhood, friends and open house on Christmas Eve. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. While attending Montgomery County Community College she was on the honor roll, and achieved an award with the Poet Society for one of her poems. She is survived by her children Troy Leech, Allison Dugas (Jason), Ryan Leech, DJ Leech (Michele), her 10 grandchildren Andrew (Maria), Bailey, Taylor, Kendall, Cameron, Jocelyn, Amelia, Wes, Eros, and Cynthia, her brother James Bloomer (Lavina) and sister Martyna Modica (Robert), and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her sister Tina. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 10:30AM at St. Joseph Church, 16 S. Spring Garden Street, Ambler, PA 19002. The Viewing will be held from 9:30AM-10:15AM at the Church. Words of Remembrance will begin at 10:15AM. Interment will be Private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Ellen's name can be made to American Legion Post 10- William Boulton Dixon Post, 493 S. Bethlehem Pike Ft. Washington, PA 19034 .
