Frederick T. Maloney Jr.

Frederick T. Maloney, Jr., of Ambler, PA died on January 17, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Fred was born on September 5, 1958 to Frederick T. and Dolores A. (Casole) Maloney, Sr.
Fred's parents moved from Philadelphia to Horsham when Fred was still in grade school. It was in Horsham where Fred built a beautiful life, full of love, infectious laughter and incredible friendships. Fred was married to the late Jo Ann (Marvel) Maloney and they raised four children who attended the same school as their dad, Hatboro Horsham High School. He spent much of his fatherhood joyfully coaching with the Horsham Little League and Horsham Hawks. Fred retired from his career as General Manager of Stanley Marvel, Inc. in 2021 and began to really enjoy his role as Pop Pop by attending as many school and sporting events as humanly possible.
He is survived by his children David Maloney (Julie), James Maloney, John Maloney (Lauren) and Shannon Maloney; and his beloved grandchildren Shane, Benny, Scarlet, Teagan, Declan, Rowan, Joey, and Vienna. He is also survived by his loving sister Patricia Maloney (Terri Acquaviva), and their children Megan Fischel (Adam) and Carly Feldmayer (Stephen). He also leaves behind his loving partner Carolyn Kummer.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life during services at Emil J. Ciavarelli Funeral Homes and Crematory, 951 E. Butler Pike Ambler, PA 19002.
Viewing on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 6:00pm -8:00pm and Viewing Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 9:00 am -11:00 am followed by a Celebration of Fred's life at 11:00 am.
Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler PA 19002.
