Eileen Keane

Eileen Marie Keane passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026. She was 86. Her children survive Eileen, John (Colleen), Martin (Danielle), Anthony (Nicole), Michael (Corrine), and Kathleen Grimming; grandchildren, John Jr. Thomas, Ryan, Olivia, Julianna, Alayna, Zachary, Michael, and Gabriel; great-grandchildren, Levi, and Iris, with another baby joining soon.

Eileen began her professional life in nursing, graduating from Temple University. She worked in Temple Hospital's pediatric unit, caring for sick children. Her nursing career took her to Sacred Heart Hospital, where she worked the 3 to 11 shift for many years-creating lifelong friendships that continued through yearly staff reunions. She expanded her skills by training and becoming a Cardiac Care nurse, and in Geriatrics, working at Leader Nursing Home.

She was a devoted St. Paul's RC parishioner for over 50 years, joining her husband Marty, who was an usher. She was a founding member of St Paul's Women's Guild, organizing many annual Christmas Bazaars and other fundraising events.

Relatives and friends are invited to Eileen's Life Celebration on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Boyd Horrox Givnish Life Celebration Home, 200 W. Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA 19401. A second viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 10:00 – 10:50 AM at St. Paul's Church, 2007 New Hope St, Norristown, PA 19401. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by Eileen's internment at Calvary Cemetery.

Instead of flowers, Eileen requested donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
