Ellen Mae Pruett Tower McNatt, age 92, of Paris, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the Henry County Hospital. Her funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at McEvoy Funeral Home, conducted by Josh Manning. Burial will follow services in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Church members will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation with the family is planned after 12:00 noon on Thursday until the time of service.
Ellen McNatt was born July 19, 1933 in Alicia, Arkansas, to the late Carl Ray Pruett and the late Beulah Mae Shelton Pruett. She was formerly married to Larry Allen Dale Tower, who preceded her in death, and later married John David McNatt, who also preceded her in death. Ellen is survived by her sons, Robert Joseph Tower of Memphis and Billy Joe Tower of Paris; sister, Lovan Jones of Calico Rock, Arkansas; brother, Jerry Pruett of Missouri; grandson, Brian Tower; and by special friends, Valerie Adam and Marie Ford, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Besides her parents and husbands, Ellen was also preceded in death by her brother, Ray Pruett, and by her brother-in-law, Arthur Jones.
Ms. McNatt was a member of East Wood Church of Christ and the Paris Garden Club. She formerly went to weekly church luncheons where she enjoyed singing, playing bingo, visiting with friends and various other activities.
