Ellen M "Petosky" Morrison

Ellen M. (Petosky) Morrison, 73, of Mishawaka passed away on Sunday August 10, 2025,

at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

Ellen was born on January 7, 1952, in Lansing, MI to the late Clifford and Joyce (Irving) Petosky.

Ellen worked in many roles for the United States Postal Service.

Ellen is survived by her mother, her daughters, Heidi Holdridge, Dawn Rose, and Emily Wheeler as well as her grandchildren, Brandon, Holly, and Levi and her great grandchildren, Axel and Oliver. Her siblings also survive; Darryl Petosky, Bruce (Carol) Petosky, and Duane Petosky. As a beloved Aunt, her memory lives on and will be cherished by her 16 nieces and nephews

Ellen was preceded in death by her father and her siblings; Cheryl Shanks and Loren Petosky.

Ellen was strong in her faith, knowing she would have eternal peace and abundant love. She grew and shared in her faith with the members of Michiana Community Church in Granger, IN, where she was known to worship God's word.

For many, she will be remembered for her thoughtfulness to those she loved and cared for. She found joy in sewing and crafting, putting time, detail and personalization in the gifts she handmade for every person.

As Our Mother, she was admired for her strength and resilience while moving through life's trials and scars on this earth.

She will be missed here on earth but will live on in our thoughts and in our hearts. Although her passing has left a void, she is now at peace reunited with loved ones in heaven.
