Ellen Quinn

Ellen Quinn (née Kennedy), 79, of Paramus, NJ, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, October 26, 2025. Raised in Levittown, NY, Ellen was the loving daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Kennedy. She was a proud graduate of Queen of the Rosary Academy in Amityville, NY, Class of 1964, and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in education from Ladycliff College in 1968. A woman of faith, Ellen devoted much of her life to caring for loved ones in need, serving as a devoted caregiver to family members throughout the years with unwavering compassion and strength.
Ellen was predeceased by her husband, James, and their daughter Kelly Ann (Ross Maclaren) Quinn-Maclaren. She is survived by her sons Sean M. (Maureen) Quinn and James J. (Eileen) Quinn, and the cherished grandmother of Colin, Patrick, Kieran, and Connor. Ellen was the treasured sister of Raymond Kennedy and brother-in-law Donny (Rosie) Quinn, and was predeceased by her sister, Marianne Kennedy, brother-in-law Kenny Quinn and daughter-in-law Jennifer Quinn.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ.A Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church, 234 North Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ.
