Ellen Marie Rizzardo

Ellen Marie Rizzardo, 78, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at home surrounded by her husband Dennis, daughter Kelly, and cat Sweetie Pie. Ellen was born on August 12, 1944 in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Walter and Ellen Sweatman (nee Honeywell). 27 years ago, Ellen along with her husband, moved to Fond du Lac from Phoenixville, PA. She retired from J.C. Penney where she was an Associate and a Watch Repair Supervisor in King of Prussia, PA and Oshkosh, WI. Ellen enjoyed dancing, dining out, pets and animals, cooking for her family, visiting the beach and boardwalk of Wildwood, New Jersey, and also watching the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles (Iggles). Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Dennis; children, John Furlong III of Fond du Lac, Kelly (Randy) Merkes of Fond du Lac, Donna (Dennis) McLernan of Philadelphia, and Karen (Tim) McCabe of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Oliva Graham of Cleveland, OH, Timmy McCabe, Danny McCabe, and Johnny McCabe all of Philadelphia.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
