Heaven gained an angel when God called Timothy “Tim” J. Westphal affectionately known to many as “Spider” of Eden, home on November 2, 2025, at St. Agnes Hospital with his wife at his side

He was born on November 18, 1968 to his loving parents Leonard and Joanne (Ritger) Westphal in Slinger, WI. Growing up outside of Slinger, he was the baby of the family of which he enjoyed the perks that goes with it. Having six sisters and one brother there was always a sister or two, sometimes more in the kitchen baking something good to eat. He was delighted to be the official taste tester. He also didn’t complain about being assigned the simpler chores. As a matter of fact, taking care of the chickens wasn’t a chore to him at all as that was fun for him. He also enjoyed going with his father to help on his grandparents farm in Newburg, WI. Low key he always wanted to be a farmer.

He graduated from Slinger High School in 1987. He got a job at All Cast in Allenton WI the day he turned 18. With his great work ethics, it wasn’t long before he earned a supervisor position until leaving the company in 2010 when he went into business for himself. He was an owner-operator of his own business, Tim Westphal Trucking until September of 2024. Through the years he also enjoyed being able to work part-time helping two different elderly couples on their farms until they retired while still working at All Cast.

It was while working at All Cast that he met the love of his life Donna. They married on October 5, 2018, after being together over 8 years. While he was easy going and quiet she was spicy and talked enough for the both of them, they brought the best out in each other. It was obvious from the start that god put them exactly where they needed to be at exactly the right time to cross paths because she needed him and he needed her.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife Donna, children; Shane (Alex), Cody, AJ (Katie), and Madison; Grandchildren Sommer, Sophia, Brianna, Tucker, Letty, Ambrose, Atlas and Asher; siblings Mary (Bruce) Olson, Sue Westphal, Brenda (Larry) Landers, Tina (Ken) Ziegelbauer and Jeff Westphal, Mother in law Mary Espitia, brother in laws, David (Mary), Adam (Cristina) and Weston Espitia. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and several good friends from junior high; Todd(frog), Bob(kitty-cat), Craig and Uni, as well as other friends Scott and Dustin McKay.

He is preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Joanne, sisters Angie and Pam, niece Rebecca and father-in-law David Espitia Sr.

Tim was a humble, fun-loving, simple kinda guy. He enjoyed spending time with family and being outdoors doing stuff. He loved to joke with those he loved. He will be missed by all who love him, especially his granddaughter Sommer, who was his sidekick. Whatever he was doing, she was doing, whether it be washing the dump truck, mowing the lawn, stacking wood, going up north and when he wasn’t feeling well they played many, many, games of connect four. He was her best friend.

Memorial service for Tim will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 5:30 pm at Twohig Funeral Home (305 Fond du Lac Avenue) with Rev. Neil Zinthefer officiating. Visitation will be from 2:30 pm until the time of the service.
