Ellie Kickel Obituary
She was the beloved wife of James Kickel; dearest mother of Melissa (Eric) Smith and Allison Kickel; loving grandmother of Quinton, Owen, Sheamus, Clara, Isida and Hendrik "PJ"; dear sister of Martha (Mike) Groff, John (Nancy) Rainone, Linda Zupan and Rick (Debbie) Rainone.
Ellie was a strong confident woman who faced every challenge with dignity and grace. She was gifted an extra seventeen years of life when she received her new heart in 2008 giving her the opportunity to celebrate the all of life's joys of becoming a grandparent. Surrounded by friends and family, Ellie found peace and comfort with the love that they shared together. Her memory will continue to live on in our hearts.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 10-11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at The Church of the Holy Angels 18205 Chillicothe Road Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023. A luncheon with follow at Barrington Golf Club, 350 N Aurora Rd, Aurora, OH 44202.
