Diane Marie Kulawiak (née Havlik), 84, of Sun Lakes, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Diane spent her early and pre-retirement years there before moving to Sun Lakes to enjoy her later years in the Arizona sunshine. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eleanor Havlik, and her sisters, Joan Daray and Carol Rodriguez.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Lawrence Kulawiak, her son John and his wife Carolyn, and her cherished granddaughters Hannah, Grace, and Hailey.

Diane was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy was caring for her family. She also worked as an administrative professional in both corporate and educational settings, where she valued the opportunity to support and mentor young adults. Known for her kindness, good humor, and steady warmth, Diane touched the lives of all who knew her.

Her grandchildren were the light of her life, inspiring laughter, playfulness, and endless pride. Her family and friends will remember her always for the love she gave so freely and the comfort of her gentle presence.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. www.hov.org

Private family services were held, with burial at Aurora Cemetery in Aurora, Ohio.
