Ellie Grace Moody was called home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness. Her peaceful transition from this world to her heavenly home marks the end of her time here, but we find comfort knowing her life and body have now been made perfect.

The name Ellie means "bright light" and she truly embodied that in many ways. She brought an unimaginable amount of joy and love to her family. A precious gift from God. She was adored not only by her parents but also by her sister, Briella.

Briella had a special gift of making Ellie laugh in the most joyous way. Ellie loved and adored her big sissy so very much.

Ellie was a true “daddy’s girl”, her smile lighting up the room when she saw her dad. Her mom cherished Ellie’s lively spirit and spunky, sweet personality. She was mommy’s little sweetheart.

Her mornings were always filled with love, happiness, smiles, Ms. Rachel, and interacting with beloved family dog, Oscar.

Ellie will forever be loved and missed by her parents, Ryan M. Moody and Destiny M. Meese of Uhrichsville; her sister, Briella Moody; her grandparents, Lisa and Ron Meese and Donna Moody; her uncle, Benjamin (Alicia) Meese; her cousins, Kendall and Khyler Meese and Haylee and Zane Bower; and many other family members.

She was welcomed into heaven by her grandfather, Scott Moody, her aunt, Melinda Zurcher and several great grandparents. A private ceremony will be held at Preach the Word Ministries in the week to come.

Ellie’s life was filled with challenges, both physical and mental, yet she overcame and defied all odds. Her life stands as a powerful testimony to healing, grace, and the boundless love and power of our Lord.
