Ellis was a bright light. He loved to have deep conversations on Fridays mornings with me and often asked if he was my favorite advisory student. Well Ellis you were. Teaching staff and students at FlexTech are better for knowing you. Your kindness was infectious and you left an imprint on our hearts.

I knew Ellis from work and he was so kind and thoughtful to everyone. I was always happy to come in to work and see he was working as well. He would make others laugh with his sense of humor and he was one of my favorite coworkers. Ellis would always greet you and make sure you were really doing "good" if you said you were. I also remember sharing some churros with the back of house. I didn't think much of it but he was so sweet and kept thanking me, saying how nice of me it was to share. He had a knack for making sure others felt seen and cared for and that will stick with me forever.
He is sorely missed. My deepest condolences to everyone who knew him and those closest to him.

Although I have always lived far away and didn't see Ellis often, I remember so enjoying spending time with him and his brothers when they were young. He was adorable and incredibly sweet. Sending love to the family and everyone impacted.

Ellis was a fun-loving child full of energy and always making everyone around him laugh. He was a sweet boy and my daughter Ashley said he always talked to her even when no one else would. He had a kind soul. every time we pass a Menards we sing his song "you get lost at Menards" . lol he did get lost in Menards and made up that little song. He was respectful, kind and still had so much to offer the world. He found peace resting in the arms of our Heavenly Father. I pray his brothers, Mother, grandparents and friends may feel that same peace only the Lord can give. God bless you Ellis

Ellis Kender was a fun loving boy with a kind sweet soul. He was always respectful and loved to make us all laugh. He had so much yet to bring to the world. He was adored and loved. He is resting now free in his Fathers arms. May love peace and understanding fill the hearts of his brothers, parents, grandparents and friends. You truly brought smiles and happiness to the lives you touched. hugs. Ellis you are very loved. once in 5th grade, we where all going on a feild trip. It was me hayden and thomas in a car with mr hollister, and somehow hayden thomas and i had convinced him that we all used to live in germany on the same street. It took a lot of convincing, but eventually he believed us. That car ride sticks in my head because of how much he made us all laugh that day, and a lot of days before and after that.

Ellis was one of the most wise people I knew. He was a funny person, a kind soul, a beautiful spirit, and above all, a great friend. I will always remember how joyful he could be and how happy he made everyone around he despite what he was dealing with inside. Ellis never let what he dealt with define him, he always showed a brave face and I wish I could have seen through it. Ellis will always be remembered for being a true and honest person, a wise guy, a kind soul, and above all, a gift to this world.
