Ellyn Lorrayne Gilbride, age 81, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025. William Wallace once said "every man dies, but not every man lives." Ellen lived her life to the fullest and unapologetically did it her way. She traveled, she tried new things, and she loved her family deeply. Ellyn's stories were abundant. Her memories were exciting and her life was full.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; parents, Virginia (Walter) Zacharyasz, Howard Black Sr.; brother, Howard Black Jr. and sister, Susan O'Dee.
Her smile and laughter will be missed by her sister, Elaine (Rich) Gruly; brother-in-law, Jim O'Dee; nieces, Kathie O'Dee, Colleen Dempsey, Nadine (Brian) Kempton, Kim (Dave) Saxor and nephews, Jim O'Dee Jr., Rick Gruly, and Chris (Vanessa) O'Dee; along with numerous great nieces and nephews.
Angels be with you forever.
