Ellyn M. Hall

MASSENA – Ellyn M. Hall, 67, passed away Saturday evening, January 31, 2026 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness.

Ellyn was born January 13, 1959 in Massena, the daughter of the late Dawson and Frances (Deshane) Grow. She grew up in Brasher, where she graduated from St. Lawrence Central School. On July 27, 1994, she married Terry Hall at Veteran's Memorial Park in Massena.

Ellyn worked for a time at ARC in Norwood and drove school bus for St. Lawrence Central School for a short time. She was a communicant of the Church of the Sacred Heart and was a volunteer for Tri-Town Rescue Squad. She enjoyed reading, word-search puzzles, and visits to McDonald's with her friends. Ellyn, along with her husband, was a faithful follower of SUNY Potsdam Bears Hockey.

Ellyn is survived by her husband, Terry; and her brother, Steve Grow of Massena.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, however there will be no services at this time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the spring at the Church of the Sacred Heart.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in her memory to Tri-Town Rescue or Brasher-Winthrop Fire Department.
