Elmer Enderle, son of the late Leo Enderle and Dora (Glastetter) Enderle was born on September 27, 1934 outside of Kelso, Missouri and departed his life on Thursday, May 15, 2025 in the Chaffee Nursing Center at the age of 90 years.
He was the owner and operator of Enderle Construction and Vina-Stone Manufacturing. Mr. Enderle was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, Guardian Angel Council #4311, Knights of Columbus member since May 1, 1962, and a resident of Chaffee.
On October 22, 1955 he was united in marriage to Gladys Anna Koenig. She preceded him in death on March 10, 2009.
Survivors include four sons, Leo (Connie) Enderle, Steven (Sheilah) Enderle all of Chaffee, Butch (Glenda) Enderle of Peyton, Colorado, and Tim (Teresa) Enderle of Scott City; three daughters, Wanda (Herb) Blattel of Delta, Gail (Danny) Walter of Chaffee, and Shannon (John) Chanley of Gordonville; fifteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchild; one sister, Laura Craigmiles of Chaffee one sister-in-law, Berniece Debrock of Jackson; very special family friend, Donna Hess; also, by other relatives and many friends.
Along with his wife and parents and infant son, he was preceded in death by sister, Inez Elfrink; grandson Jeremy Reeves, grand daughter-in-law, Nicole Enderle and great-grandson, Alexander Enderle; four sister’s-in-law and eight brother’s-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with a Rosary Prayer Service 4:00, Knights of Columbus Service at 7:00 pm. Eucharistic Celebration will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Kelly as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery.
