Donna Jeanette Enderle, 82, of Heath, passed away peacefully at The Ohio State University Medical Center on Sunday, August 17, 2025. She was born at Chillicothe Hospital on Jan. 11, 1943 to the late Harry L. Reed and Esta J. Thomas.

Donna graduated from beauty school in her early adult life, and worked at Wear-ever in the late 1960s. She was an employee of Park National Bank and retired from Dimension Cable.

In 1970, she met Gary and married him that same year. They went on to have their one and only child, Erin, in 1973 at Fort Knox, Kentucky. After retirement, Donna resided in her home in Sebring, Florida for the winter months, where she enjoyed fishing from her dock. She would return to Ohio each spring. Eventually in 2013, she returned to Heath permanently so she could be closer to her family.

Donna was an avid painter in her early years, an animal enthusiast, and a loving and devoted caretaker to her beloved dogs Murphy James and Nora Jean. She made many memories playing video games with her grandchildren, while also teaching them to garden and cook family recipes.

Donna will be remembered for her contagious laughter, quick wit, good sense of humor, resilience, and deep love for family and friends. Her memory will live on in the stories we share, while her legacy and family traditions will be cherished for years to come. We are grateful for the time we shared together, and her laughter will echo in our hearts forever.

She will be missed greatly by her grandchildren, Ansley and Benjamin Sowards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary B. Enderle; daughter Erin L. Sowards; grandson Luke B. Sowards; and brother, Michael H. Reed.

Per Donna's wishes, there will be no services.
