Elmer Lytle Obituary
Born on July 27, 1945, Elmer lived a life marked by faith, service, and craftsmanship. A proud Vietnam veteran, he served his country with honor and courage. Following his military service, Elmer remained deeply committed to his community, staying active in his church and generously sharing his time and talents with others.
Elmer had a passion for woodworking, creating pieces that reflected both his skill and love for the craft. His workshop was a place of creativity and care, where he found joy in building and giving.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Bonnie (née Pieper); daughters Jennifer, Melissa, and Becky (Jeff); sons Adam (Ayumi) and Nate; grandchildren Madison, Aubrey, Claire, Colston, and Alora; and his special dog, Lady.
Elmer's legacy lives on through his family, his faith, and the many lives he touched with kindness and integrity.
A celebration of Elmer's life will be held at the Red Moon on Highway 60 and P in Rubicon on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. An additional celebration of life will be held at the Moravian Church in West Salem at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bonnie Lytle for distribution to charities meaningful to Elmer.
