Elpida Bobolis

Elpida Bobolis, nee Karagiannis, 78, of Chicago and formerly of Ilioraxi, Greece passed away on May 26, 2024. Beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother to Demetrios and Roula. Cherished Yiayia of Ioannis "Ethan". Dear sister of Athanasia (the late Christoforos) Rarras, Pantelis Karagiannis and the late Irine (the late Elias) Anastasiou. Fond aunt, cousin and friend to many. She will be missed by many friends and family. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 31 from 4-8pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago IL 60646. Saturday, June 1 a visitation will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 W Winona St, Chicago, IL 60625, from 9am until the time of the funeral service at 9:30am. Interment Rosehill Cemetery.
