She was predeceased by her eldest sister, Blanca Martinez of San Salvador, El Salvador, and is survived by her older sister, Maria E. Rivera of Framingham, MA. She leaves behind two daughters, Ana Ruth Duarte of Worcester, MA and Yancy I. Gonzalez and son-in-law, Tomas Gonzalez of Millbury, MA. Her grandchildren Daniela Lovato and her husband, Carlos Lovato, Jonathan Duarte, Danilo Adrian Duarte, Joel Santos, Marcos Santos, Angel Santos, Jessica Duarte and great-granddaughters Kamila and Karina Lovato. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
She was a dedicated single mother to her daughters and was a wonderful aunt and grandmother who supported her family in any way she could. She had a love for morning TV game shows, novelas and roses. Her wittiness and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all.
There will be a funeral service at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on 886 Main Street, Worcester on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life reception from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at The Marine Corps League, 181 Lake Ave, Worcester. Dirsa – Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton Street has care of the funeral arrangements.
