Elsie Cornachio

Elsie A. Cornachio, age 92, of Eastlake, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025. Elsie was born on October 4, 1933, to the late Joseph and Antoinette Mah (Blotnik). Elsie was a woman whose greatest joy was her family, and whose heart had a special place for animals. Over the years, she devoted herself to rescuing animals. She was a talented cook who loved preparing meals for her family and enjoyed the tranquility of bird watching. Elsie is survived by her loving daughters, JoAnn (Tony) Pack and Janet (Patrick) Healy. She was a cherished grandmother to AJ (Eurah) Pack, Alec (Mark) Pack, Jonathan (Fatima) Barry, and Delaney Barry. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, John R. Cornachio, her brother, Bill (Eleanor) Mah, and her sister, Olga (Carl) Spahar. Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 9:30 AM at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35781 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake, for a Funeral Mass to be held at 10:00 AM. Elsie will be laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon. In lieu of flowers donations in her honor can be made to Lake Humane Society.
