Elsie "Jayne" Cole, age 69, of Sandy, Utah, passed away on March 20, 2026. Jayne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Born on March 1, 1957 in Torrey Utah, Jayne was the daughter of Golda Ostberg Cannon and Bert Munn Cannon.

She was a member of the LDS church and her faith touched the lives of many. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, baking and being with her family. She loved music, loved dancing, and was a wonderful singer.

Her proudest title was Mama. She loved her children and grandchildren more than words can describe. She gave selflessly and was always a caretaker. She cared for her mother in her home for many years before her mother passed and she raised her sweet grand-daughter Myah for 15 years. Her many traditions will live on for generations.

Jayne is survived by her daughters: Tara (Jason) Matthews and Kaila Galli; her sons: Sean (Jamie) Nolan, Jeff (Niki) Nolan, and Jordan (Amy) Bendixen; her siblings: Lois (LaDell) Taylor, DeOna (Jerry) Jones; her 19 grandchildren: Dylan, Meghan, Isabelle, Tori, Myah, Taya, James, Ryley, Ryan, Rowen, Andrew, Asa, Ethan, Sebastian, Annabell, Kaia, Siena, Hudson, and Henry.

Jayne was preceded in death by her late husbands: John Nolan and Mark Cole; her son: Logan Nolan; her siblings: Marilyn (Dennis) Christensen, David (Faye) Cannon, Glade (Carma) Cannon, Kenneth (Lorna) Cannon, Elaine (Stephen) Bergman, and Alfred Cannon; her grandchild: Haley Nolan; her son-in-law: Cory Galli.

A celebration of life will be held at the LDS Church (9245 South Quail Run Drive, Sandy, Utah 84093) on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM.
