Elsie Helen Seiffert, 88, passed away on July 18, 2024, at Jefferson Health Care in Jefferson, Ohio.
She was born on May 7, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio; the daughter of William and Josephine (Schoeck) Brandt.
Elsie married the love of her life, George J. Seiffert on June 21, 1958, they shared thirty-five wonderful years of marriage together before his passing in 1994.
She worked as a laborer for the Sanborn Wire Company in Rock Creek, Ohio for twenty-one years before retiring in 1993.
Elsie enjoyed coloring, cooking and doing crossword puzzles. Her true source of joy and happiness came from spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, David R. Seiffert; her grandchildren, Scott Seiffert and Michael (Monica) Seiffert; her great-grandchildren: Ivory, Christian, Zachary and Joshua and four great, great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Seiffert; her daughter, Teresa A. Highlander; her daughter-in-law, Betty Seiffert and her brother, Robert Brandt.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Fleming and Billman Funeral Home, 49 West Jefferson Street in Jefferson, Ohio. A private family burial to take place on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Oakdale Cemetery.
